Ken Shipley from Numero Group
100 Words Or Less
I am privileged to bring on Ken Shipley, the co-founder of an incredible label called Numero Group that specializes in releasing and archiving music of all styles including (and not limited to) Northern Soul, Gospel, Folk and more recently early screamo. Their re-issues of some seminal recordings from Codine, Karate, Indian Summer and more made me fall in love with the label even deeper so I HAD to have Ken on the podcast. We discussed his upbringing in the punk/hardcore scene, his curation roots and the process (for him) of putting out records. Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.com
