This album seems to be really polarizing, you either love it or hate it. I tried, but I just can't get into it. The hooks are there though, I'll give him that.
I was hesitant to get into this record, due to me not being a fan of MGK's other music. But having drinks with a friend and this record came on, I was into it. I gave it the time for a solid listen, and I must say I was into it. Obviously not the most original pop punk record. But I think it holds its own.
